Valve’s Steam is a PC gaming platform that is used by over 150 million gamers globally. It is the epicenter for finding games and keeping them organized in your own personal library, whilst also getting points to customize your account with every purchase.

Available in almost every country, Steam acts as a digital distribution service for digital video games and software copies. This company has always been a company with generation Z thanks to its understanding of the younger cultures and much of their passion for gaming.

The company offers many options for users, including adequate digital rights management, streaming, and server hosting, and many more services that connect people. Their game rating system is also very advanced in prospect to many other similar companies and has a strong community following.

On Steam, you will always find some games on sale, but every once in a while they do larger sales called Midweek sales, and even larger ones every season in accordance with a theme.

Today we’re here to talk about the best games you can get with a bang for your buck. Their sales can range from 10% to 90% discounts, and they are also creator-friendly by taking a percentage less than 30% on the first 10 million sales from smaller developers.

Let’s look at the best games you can get on sale right now, and also whether or not they usually go on sale.

Battlefield 5

One of the more recent games from the Battlefield franchise is BF 5, which usually goes on a 75% sale on Steam every once in a while. This means the price is reduced from 60 euros to just 15, which might even make it worthwhile.

The most loved Battlefield game is BF 1, but most of their games have a similar formula since they are based on a certain style of game, which would be a first-person shooter war game. These games offer a stressful blend of skills and chaos, and Battlefield 5 follows this path as well.

The story of Battlefield 5 goes back in time into World War II Europe, immersing players in a war-ridden, hostile environment meant to represent the actual war.

Game critics liked the game and its multiplayer modes, though there were many complaints on how it felt like the same previous game and didn’t have enough content.

One thing BF 5 does have is war stories, which first follow the story of a woman in the Norwegian Resistance. Overall, the game isn’t bad, just not an innovation. Either way, it is probably worth the sale price nonetheless.

Dead By Daylight

This game is praised as being one of the best asymmetrical multiplayer games, meaning each player has a different role throughout the gameplay. Originally coming with a price tag of 20 euros, this game is often half off, making it all the more worth it.

The premise of Dead By Daylight is Slasher-inspired and it is a survival horror game that makes players have the end goal of reaching a certain exit gate.

Stealth and teamwork reign supreme in this game because team members have to locate five generators and also fix them in order to escape, all the while a killer player is hunting the survivors with the goal of hanging them on hooks and sacrificing them.

The gameplay is fun and there’s always a need to stay one step ahead of the killer.

Red Dead Redemption II

Rockstar’s greatest achievement is this game thanks to the massive open-world it offers players and the minimal compromise they brought to achieve it. The game is set in 1899 America within a band of outlaws.

Thanks to its impeccable story, players get to spend 60 hours in its story mode. After the linear start to the story, you are set free into this highly-detailed open world where you do tasks and go on adventures just like an outlaw would.

The slower tempo of the game allows players to savor it further and immerse themselves further in this amazing RPG.

When the game goes on sale, it usually receives a 50% discount, meaning it goes down from 60 euros to 30, making it a great steal if you are interested in mesmeric RPGs and the universe of the wild West.

Resident Evil 3

The Resident Evil franchise is a horror survival third-person shooter made by Capcom with a cult following. Shinji Mikami is one of the game designers who is extremely passionate about his job, as should you be as well since he made these games as amazing as they still are.

This game plays an airy ode to the earlier Resident Evil trilogy and captures it in a decent way. The game is really fun overall (though a bit watered-down) and happens to be a little too short to be as good as the previous games.

Though it compares dimly to the previous games, playing it is still a pleasant experience to play, especially when its price drops from 40 euros to 16, making it worth its price.

Sea of Thieves

This game is a multi-player that is set in an open world full of sea monsters and adventure. Both campaign and multiplayer are made parallel to each other, and the gameplay is more fun with more people thanks to the game mechanics making certain tasks feasible with more people.

The only way to travel to locations is by using a map and a compass, making this pirate and the nautically themed game even more immersive than it already is.

The ships’ anatomy is quite accurate and any damage the ship receives during combat can be realistically repaired with planks and other similar items. Gathering resources is elemental to surviving, and the fights just begin to highlight that.

Sea of Thieves usually costs 40 euros, but usually goes on a 33% sale, lowering the price to about 27 euros.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

EA Games has a certain reputation amongst players as being very hit or miss with its games, but if you love the Star Wars franchise, you will come to find that Fallen Order is one of your best options when wanting to immerse yourself into this galactic universe.

The combat and action are similar to an easier Dark Souls game, making it competitive and attention-grabbing. The storyline of this game takes place after Emperor Palpatine’s purge of the Jedi Order and portrays the traumatic aftermath of this event.

Some jokes ease the tense situation the main character you play is in by bringing forth the usual charm this franchise tends to have.

The graphics of this game are quite crisp though, so make sure to have a good graphics card to play this on.

With this game on sale, it costs 10 euros instead of 40 and you can also currently buy the Deluxe Edition for the same price.

Steam will probably always remain the best platform for every gamer out there, being inherited by the younger ones every generation, since it is already built up to please its consumers and has proven to be reliable, efficient, and overall perfect.
