Flash Stock Firmware on Vivo X5l

Install Stock Firmware on Vivo X5l

Requirement for Flashing Official Firmware/ Firmware

♦ USB drivers.
♦ Enable developer mood and USB Debugging
♦ Smart phone flash tool – link

Increase RAM SIZE in Vivo X5l – Need Root

Step 1,

Note – we recommend you to get full  backup before doing this.

Download and install Vivo X5l USB drivers after that, enable “Developer and Debugging mood“

Step 2,

Turn off your Vivo phone phone by pressing Power button and remove the battery.

Step 3,

Download Official Stock Firmware For Vivo X5l

Download Vivo X5l  Stock Firmware (please Find right Stock Firmware)

after that extract downloaded SP Flash tool. (to extract you will need this software). after extract open Flash tool by Clicking “Flash tool.exe”

Step 4,

After open Flash tool. There is tab called Download. Click the “Download tab”

after that, There is a button Called “Scatter-Loading”. Click it and locate the catter file. there is the catter file in the Stock Firmware folder. some thing like – “#### android catter.txt”

Start Flashing Stock Firmware on Vivo X5l

Final Step. Click the Download button to Begin Flash.

Now connect your Vivo phone phone to your PC or lap via data cable. after then, press Volume Up and Volume Down until the Vivo phone phone is detected by your PC. (without battery). after complete Flashing process, SP Flash tool indicate green right.

Errors and Solutions

Vivo  phone not works after flashing

A : Give it to 5min. because first boot is slow. If not works, then flash it again please go step by step.

Vivo X5l stuck at Boot logo or Bootloop

A: Git it to 5min because first boot is Slow. Remove the battery for 60 seconds then insert back. If not works then boot into recovery mood and wipe the data (Hard reset). If not works then Try again to install Stock Firmware.

automatically disconnecting during flashing Vivo phone 

Try another data cable.
Try to install Drivers again
Try another Computer.

I can’t Flash Stock Firmware Vivo phone

My phone keep restarting

  • It may be your Vivo X5l case is pressing on it
  • May be, your current Firmware is Corrupted or damaged. So you have to Install Stock Firmware to ON your phone. use this post to Flash new Stock Firmware. If you can, use different Firmware.

PMT changed Error

  • Try to format your phone using Sp flash tool,
  • Find another Firmware
  • If not works, then open the scatter file using windows Notepad+ and try to change __NODL_FAT to FAT by removing “__NODL_”

  • BROM ERROR: S_SECURITY_SF_CODE_COMMAND_FORBIDDEN (6012), MSP ERROR CODE: 0X00
