How to repair a corrupted micro SD card

Hi, today our guide line about repairing corrupted Android micro SD card. Sometimes your SD card in Android phone may become corrupted. Then it will give different issues. So this guide line shows you how to fix it carefully. Read also – How to restore my data from my SD card (hard).

first you have to get back from your SD card and after that you have to format your SD card. finally move back up files to your SD card.

How to get back up micro SD card data

1. Connect your android device to your computer. Make sure, mount it as a disk drive (mass storage mode)
2. Open the computer and find your SD card. May be, you can see as removable drive.

4. Press “Ctrl-A” to select all your files and folders in SD drive and copy and paste it to some ware in your computer

How to format micro SD card

1. Go to my computer and find your SD card. And Right click on micro SD card drive in My Computer and select/choose “Format”
2. Don’t change anything. Go with default settings and select “Start format”
3. After completed format go ahead.

 

How to perform a chkdsk – Fix SD card errors

1. Connect your android device to your computer. Make sure, mount it as a disk drive (mass storage mode)
2. Remember you drive latter. (E, R, G, F whatever)
3. Then go to Command prompt (CMD). And open it – to open, go to RUN and type CMD and enter.
4. Type this code chkdsk [sd card drive letter] :/f – It will Scan and attempt Recovery of bad sectors of your memory card and automatically fix them

If required, go ahead

1. You may notice “drive not in use” don’t think about. Continue pressing “Y” it may also ask, “Want to save lost chain into files”. Say YES
2. copy all of your data to SD card from previous back up.
